BIO

Meredith Long (Dieth)  is a graduate of the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. She lived in New York City until 2004 and has performed off Broadway, in national tours, on cruise ships, and in various regional theatres around the country.  Her past credits include:  Ruthless, where she won the Big Easy Award for Best Actress, The World Goes Round and Tunes at Le Petit Theatre, “Miss Mona” in The Best Little Whore House in Texas at the Biloxi Grand, and “Ms. Pennywise” in Urinetown at Rivertown Repertory Theatre.  Meredith also portrayed “Cha Cha” in the national tour of Grease with Frankie Avalon and Chubby Checker, “Ethel Toffelmier” in The Music Man with Tony Award Winners, Gary Beech and Terrence Mann. She also worked for The Disney Cruise Line and numerous regional and touring companies. You may also have seen her on TV in the new Lunchables commercials. Meredith continues to perform, direct, and study throughout the greater New Orleans area. She has taught talented theatre in St. Tammany Schools and is currently the Director of Performing Arts at St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie.  She is also a proud member of Actors' Equity and is very involved with the local theatre committee.
